Breaking News English [1] is a website run and created by Sean Banville which which provides free teaching materials every three days. Lessons are based on the day's current news.
There is a 13-page printable handout as a MS Word DOC or PDF download. Each lesson also has a listening, available as an MP3 file. You can also subscribe to the podcast. Additionally, the entire history of the all the podcasts and associated materials is also kept on the site. The conversation questions generated by these podcasts are also available at the associated conversation questions site.
The content is generally quite useful for teachers in a hurry to prepare a class.
